Banded V-Belts group multiple v-belts by a common backing and are available in A(1/2") groove, B(5/8") groove, C(7/8") groove and D(1-1/4") Groove. This increases the durability of the v-belt due to uniform tension, improved alignment, and increased rigidity. This is important in heavy duty applications where fluctuating load tension and extreme shock loads are a common cause of failure. Most often, banded v-belts have two through 14 ribs(bands).
